JOSH Carmichael says Weymouth coped well during their heavy spell of away games recently in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division.
Weymouth faced five away games in the space of three weeks with just one home game during that run where Weymouth took home comforts in thrashing Farnborough 6-0.
Carmichael said: “It is a long day when you are playing away, especially in the midweek where we are not getting home until one or two o’clock in the morning. We have done well, we have coped well with it, we have got some good results on the road.”
The Terras had three wins two draws and one loss in the three-week spell and face St Neots at home at the Bob Lucas Stadium today (3pm) and their following match is also a home game against Royston Town next weekend.
Carmichael said: “It is definitely nice to come home now and not have to travel those long distances so it is good.”
The last time the two sides met Carmichael played the whole match as Weymouth got a 2-1 win away thanks to goals from Brandon Goodship and Harry Baker.
Carmichael said: “We know what they are like, we have played them away from home. They are a good side and we managed to win there but it is another game.
“We will do the right things, get the set-pieces done and we will be ready.”
