RELIEF: Anton Robinson is mobbed after heading the Terras' winner
WEYMOUTH boss John Hollins hopes last night's "well deserved" 2-1 win over Droylsden will see their fortunes improve from now until the end of the season.
The Terras climbed out of the bottom four and now sit three points above the Blue Square Premier drop-zone having started the night in 21st place.
A goal from Anton Robinson 13 minutes before the end sealed the three points after Jamie McGuire had cancelled out Stuart Beavon's opening strike - his first league goal since the 3-1 defeat of Droylsden back in September.
A good night for the hosts was marred somewhat in the 80th minute when Mark Convery was dismissed for raising his hand to the Bloods' Chris Denham.
Hollins said: "Droylsden pulled a goal back after a great goal from us. We then went for it and had a good spell in the second half where we hit a post. It was a great cross from Trevor Challis and Matt Bailey had to stretch down a long way but he made good contact.
"When it hit the post I thought it
wasn't going to be our night but James Coutts broke through, his shot hit the keeper and fortunately fell to Robinson.

"I thought about making changes but everyone knew their jobs and was up for it so I didn't want to disturb it. It was a tough game but a well deserved three points.
"We will enjoy tonight because it was a good game and the crowd got behind us. Perhaps we have turned a wee corner now."
Of the sending off, Hollins added: "Like Arsene Wenger says I didn't see it' the ball had gone. What it was though, was Mark flapped his hand up and the Droylsden lad made a meal of it, but if you raise your hands you can get sent off. It was a silly thing because he'll get a three-match ban."
Although delighted with display of his men, Hollins gave praise to already relegated Droylsden who went close to recording only their eighth league point away from home.
Hollins added: "Credit to the opposition because they could have turned up here and thought that it doesn't matter but I've seen them twice now and they have the ability to play teams off the park. They played three up front, were quick and looked a threat."
The Terras' survival hopes were further boosted by defeats for Halifax, Farsley Celtic and Northwich Victoria at Burton Albion, Ebbsfleet and Torquay respectively.
Hollins said: "They've all gone in our favour, perhaps for the first time I think. But like anything else it's no good looking at what other people do, if we were to win all our remaining games then there is no problem whatsoever."
