THE Dorchester Collection Used Car Centre has become the official training kit sponsor for the Dorchester Raiders Under-12s.
Currently playing in Division Four, the county town youngsters train on Saturday mornings at the 3G pitch at the Dorchester Leisure Centre, and their home games are played at the Rec.
They are managed by Andy Fowler, who also hails from Dorchester. When the opportunity came around for a new training kit sponsor, Dorchester Collection thought it was well-timed due to their move to new premises.
Dorchester Collection director Ben Wrixon said: “Having spent more than 30 years at London Road in Dorchester, we made the move to purpose-built premises at the bottom of the Grove in Dorchester.
“This gives us proper facilities for the VW Campervan conversion part of our business, which is growing each year.
“We are really pleased to be able to help the Raiders with their new kit, a local business helping a kids’ football team is a great opportunity, one which we hold with great pride.”
