THIRTY members of the Jurassic Coast Girls football club trained with and had chance to interview the stars from successful Yeovil Town Ladies team.
Members from the Under-8 and Under-10 teams met defender, Nicola Cousins and forward, Annie Heatherson, who took time out from their pre-season training to do a question and answer session about their footballing successes with the club.
Jurassic Coast Girls coach and chairman, Nathan Wood explained how the club have been building links with Yeovil Town ladies to inspire girls to develop their skills from grassroots level.
He said: “Our ethos, here at JCGFC, is all about inclusion, fun and developing girls of all abilities to love the game.
“The support tonight from Nicola and Annie shows we are doing the right things for the local girls in the area and I cannot thank them enough for inspiring the girls tonight.”
