CHAMPIONS: WeySports Under-15s
WEYSPORTS Girls have won the Under-15 Futsal Indoor Winter League.
Organised by Dorset FA, the Winter League took place over a number of weeks either side of Christmas, with rounds at Canford School, Ashdown Leisure Centre and Redlands.
The competition was played according to the rules of Futsal, which are five-a-side, using smaller goals and played with a ball of reduced bounce.
After only one training session, the WeySports team proved remarkably good at the game, beating Poole Town Wessex, Wimborne and Rossgarth to win the league.
The trophy and medals were awarded to the girls by the FA at the final league meeting at Redlands.
