Mark Owen will be playing in the celebrity football match
Robbie Williams has signed up his Take That pal Mark Owen as the latest celebrity team-mate to join charity event Soccer Aid.
Mark, 40, joins a line-up of players which includes Hollywood stars Jason Isaacs, Gerard Butler, Will Ferrell and Mike Myers.
The stars will take to the pitch at Manchester's Old Trafford on May 27 in aid of Unicef.
Organiser Robbie announced on his blog that his bandmate - a gifted player - was joining the team.
He wrote: "The best football player that TT produced has agreed to play for England at Soccer Aid.
"Mr Mark Owen shall be gracing the theatre of dreams. It just gets better and better. Nice one Marko, see you on the training pitch in May."
Also joining the game will be Marvin Humes and Aston Merrygold from JLS, chef Gordon Ramsay and comedian John Bishop.
The event sees celebrities and veteran players - including Teddy Sheringham, Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Jaap Stam - in a clash between teams representing England and the rest of the world.
