MOST people, including until recently myself, have a stereotypical image of a hospice as a place that provides nursing care solely for inpatients but in reality this is a very narrow view of the services they provide.

IN reply to people concerned by police sponsorship, I need to start by saying that if the force received a fair share of funding, I wouldn’t be forced to explore new ways of bringing in money through income generation or sponsorship.

I would like to congratulate Daphne and Lisa Crump, and all their staff and pupils of the Weymouth Ballet School, for the truly excellent show that they gave at Weymouth Pavilion. This shows how much we need the Pavilion to encourage our young people to keep themselves active and to give us an excellent evening’s entertainment.
