Oh dear! Oh dear! The Tories are in a tizz. Even Lord Ashcroft’s money couldn’t swing it in east or South Dorset last time, so Ian Bruce is wooing Roy Child and UKIP to help win back the South Dorset seat (Your Say, March 2).

Having recently seen Alice in Wonderland in 3D at the Plaza Dorchester I agree with Mr Cunard, (the owner) Dorchester has an excellent cinema.

Is is our leaders' duty to attend public meeting

What is bothering so many of us about the refusal of the district council leader and the chief executive to attend the meeting on March 24 is the fact that they are both public servants (one has been chosen by us, the other is paid by us).

Will support for the Terras end after 66 years?
