GOLDSMITH Edward 'Ted' Slipped away to brighter shores on the 28th July 2019 at the Queen Charlotte Nursing Home aged 74. Ted was the best husband in the world to Hilary and will be deeply missed by all his family and many friends. A service to celebrate his life will be held on Friday 16th August 11.30am Weymouth Crematorium. No mourning clothes required. Celebration thereafter at the Admiral Hardy. Family flowers only, but donations in Ted's memory can be made to Crohn's & Colitis UK online at www.rose-funeral.co.uk, or sent c/o Rose Funeral Service, 23 Shrubbery Lane, Wyke Regis, DT4 9LY

Hi, I am Teds daughter (Becky) and have passed this on to Mum (Hilary). She is very touched for the memory and does remember, although named slip away a bit - she says! . Thanks for taking the time to provide comfort at this time x

Dear all. I remember Ted fondly from the days in the Duke of Albany where my parents were landlords. Such a gregarious and fun personlaity. He would hold court with the best of the clientele. My thoughts are with you all. Sally ludlow nee parsons.
