BRUFORD Ivor 'John' Passed away at home after bravely fighting a long illness. Much loved husband of Sarah Father of Vincent, Andrew and Christopher. His funeral will be held at Weymouth Crematorium on Thursday 19th December 2019 at 10.00 am. No flowers please, but if desired donations for 'Weldmar Hospicecare Trust' and 'Marie Curie' may be sent to Cotton & Son, Milton House, 1 Milton Road, Weymouth, DT4 0AZ. It is very sad to hear that John has passed. Unfortunately I have not been in touch with him for a few years and did not even know John had been ill.

I was John's apprentice at his garage in Green Lane, Chickerell and also at Granby Industrial Estate. John was a very thorough mechanic, a great tutor to learn the motor trade from, he had a great sense of humour, and also was someone I considered to be a true friend of mine for many years.

John, you will be missed, my friend.

My condolences go to Sarah, John's sons, and all of John's friends and family in this time of great loss.
