GOLDRING Katherine Olive (née Townsend) We are sad to announce the death of our beloved mum Kath, on Tuesday 24th March 2020. Widow of the late David, mother to Julie and Bob, nan to Marcus, sister, much loved aunt and friend. She passed peacefully away at The Hyde, Walditch with loved ones at her side. Kath would be known to many in Weymouth as the friendly face in Goldrings Grocers shop on Lodmoor Hill. Whilst we are not able to extend an invitation to her funeral on 8th April, we would ask that if you knew Kath, please light a candle on the day in her memory. Donations to either Julia's House or The Donkey Sanctuary, Sidmouth can be made online by visiting www.grassby-funeral.co.uk

The Pearce family , Roger, Jenny and Ronnie offer their sincere condolences on the sad loss of dear Kath. We all have our own individual memories of Kath and Dave and the tremendous community spirit of our close Lodmoor neighbours. With our deepest sympathy and much love to you and your family Julie. X

Dear Julie and family l am so very sorry to hear of the sad passing of your dear mum Kath. I have such fond memories of you all at Goldrings. It was such a treat to nip to your store and select a juicy peach or choose some of the home grown grapes in the rear conservatory, a shoppers paradise with everything on display. I remember family birthday parties together and garden play days .
So sorry l won't be able to pay my last respects, it's difficult times for us all.
