STANDLEY Robert (Rob/Bob/Robbie) Former Portland Blues Goalkeeper; Long time member of the Melcombe Regis Tennis Club. Employed at Portland Dockyard, Admiralty AUWE (Bincleaves/Southwell) Passed away at home on Tuesday 16th February aged 81. Beloved husband of the late Patricia (Nash), Loving Dad to Karen (Mike Howard). Dear brother of Yvonne (Geoff Gale). Will be greatly missed by all family and friends and especially his 4 legged buddy 'Ty'. Due to current circumstances, a private funeral service will take place. A celebration of Rob's life will take place at a later date. No flowers by request but if desired, donations can be made in his memory to Portland United Football Club. Also, thanks to all his family, neighbours and friends who texted, phoned, emailed or asked about Dad offering their support and assistance at any time.
