HARBER Desmond Leslie "Des" Dear Dessy passed away peacefully in Fortuneswell Ward after a brief stay in Dorset County Hospital on 15th. November 2021 aged 76 years. He leaves behind, amongst others, his niece 'carer', best mate and apple of his eye, Kristy and his cousin, sparing partner, long time co-worker and buddy at the Flintstones, Carole. Des was a one-off and always an extremely hard worker. He was a chef at the Rembrandt Hotel for over thirty years. Put your feet up and sleep peacefully now Dessy, you have earned it! The funeral service for Des will take place at the Weymouth Crematorium on Friday 10th. December at 11.30. a.m. Family flowers only please but donations, if desired, may be given to Kidney Research U.K. c/o.
