THORNE Carol Ann Passed away peacefully at Dorset County Hospital on the 14th December 2021, aged 75 years. Much loved mum of Andrew and Sharon, mother in law of Sandy, loving grandma of Ryan, Thomas, George and Jimi. She will be sadly missed by all family and friends. Funeral Service to be held at Weymouth Crematorium on Thursday 30th December at 3.15pm. Family flowers only please but donations, if desired, for The Weldmar Hospicecare Trust may be given at the Service, online at dorchesterfunerals.com or sent c/o Matthew Lucas Funeral Directors, Down House, Widcombe Street, Poundbury, Dorchester, DT1 3BS.

So sad to hear, Carol was such a warm loving person. She was so very proud of her lovely family. Growing up we had such fun. Remember we would sit and practice our shorthand playing Elvis records. My heart and sympathies go out to her family at this sad time. Talk of her often, she won’t be forgotten and Will always berth you. Rest in peace now Carol your struggle is over.
