FLORENCE LILY SPORNE (née Podger) Florence passed away peacefully at Dorset County Hospital on the 20th July 2011, aged 85, her daughter at her side. Wife of the late Lt Cdr Leonard (Len) Sporne and much-loved mother of Elizabeth Sharon (Liz). Funeral Service to be held at St Mary's Church, Bridport on Wednesday 3rd August at 2pm, followed by cremation at Yeovil then a gathering at Florence's home. Flowers, or donations for the Weldmar Hospicecare Trust or Sidney Gale House Amenities Fund, would be welcomed at the Service or can be sent c/o A. G. Down Funeral Directors, 66 South Street, Bridport, Dorset, DT6 3NN.
