RANDELL John Huge 'Thank you' from Norma Randell for John I would like to express my huge thanks and love to all those who have helped not just me, but my beloved John through a long and often difficult journey. My first 'Thanks' goes to Windy Ridge Nursing Home for the wonderful care John received and for always supporting me with a welcoming smile and tea. I would visit John four times a week, having to a do four-hour round trip. Thankfully, one trip would be with my brother and sister-in-law. Thanks, Neil & Roma, you made every Tuesday a lot easier. A special 'Thanks' goes to my life-long friend, Marg (Mrs P, as John always called her), for always being therearound the corner. My 'Thanks' also goes to Sam Wilding at Rose Funerals, for their professionalism, especially in these current difficult circumstances. This 'Thanks' is extended to all our friends and family who came to say 'Goodbye' to John and give him the send off he so deserved. Terry, John would have been honoured seeing you in full uniform, saluting him. And to Portland United, I know John would have cheered seeing the banner you held up for him. Many 'Thanks' goes to the many who have donated to The Alzheimer's Society I know all this will go to great use in finding a cure. Keeping Portland United in mind. John loved playing for his team back in the day as goalie. It was always where he felt happiest. Now, I can give my 'thanks' to Robin, David and Rex for allowing his ashes to lay. He is home, playing and being with all his mates. Last but not least, my greatest 'Thanks and love' goes to all my immediate family for all your help, support, and love. I would not have got through it all without you. At a time when we can all get together we will be having a memorial for John, to meet his wishes.
