SLATER Jacqueline (Known as Jackie) I would like to express my huge thanks & love to all those who have helped not just me but my beloved mum Jackie through a long, and often very difficult journey from February to 12th June 2020. My thanks goes to Old Vicarage Residential Home, Sherbourne fort he wonderful care mum received & for always supporting me with my daily phone calls to mum. You all made speaking to mum easier. Due to COVID-19 I was not allowed to visit her during her 4 week duration there. A very special thank you to Dr Dean, the nurses and all the caring staff at Westhaven Community Hospital, Radipole Ward where mum stayed for 2 weeks & I know she loved it & didn't want to leave. My thanks also to Dorset County Hospital A&E staff who arranged mums transfer to Westhaven, in particular the on duty ambulance staff called out to assist her at her home. They took so much time in identifying & observing her needs. My thanks also goes to Agincare carers, Marie Curie, district nurses, OT team& all the other caring medical professionals who attended to mum in person when she was discharged from Dorchester Hospital due to corona virus. She was discharged home & a hospital environment was created at her home. Last but not least my greatest 'thanks' and love goes to all mum's neighbours, friends (you know who you are), & my aunt Gladys, for all your help, support & love. I would not have got through it all without you. Delivering urgent prescriptions, travelling in ambulance, the difficult phone calls to mum, sitting in A&E for hours, keeping mum company waiting for my arrival from Hertfordshire. Even strangers dropping off shopping and medical supplies. Thank you Naomi at Co-op Funeralcare for your understanding & guidance, patience with the arrangements in such difficult times and with my lack of technology knowledge. Thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart all, & forgive me if anyone feels forgotten. Forgive me if anyone feels forgotten but your truly not. Christine (daughter)
