Reduction in Admission Number Manor Park CE VC First School Holy Trinity CE VC Primary School St Mary's CE First School, Charminster

By Virtue of Schedule 3 of the School Organisation (Prescribed Alterations to Maintained Schools) (England) Regulations 2013, Dorset Council is required to consult on changes to provision at Maintained Schools including the reduction in Admission Numbers (AN). The proposed AN will apply to admissions to the relevant age group (the normal year of entry) commencing from the beginning of the school year 2021/22 and for any subsequent school year. Following extensive consultation with schools notice is hereby given for the following changes:

The reason for proposing lower AN is to set a level which more accurately reflects the number of actual admissions and enables the governing body of the relevant schools to plan more effectively for organisational and budgetary needs.
