Notice of Modification Order Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 Dorset Council
County of Dorset Definitive Map and Statement of Rights of Way Dorset Council (Part of Footpath 5, Dorchester at Antelope Walk) Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2020
The above Order, made on 07 August 2020, if confirmed as made, will modify the definitive map and statement for the area by deleting from them the footpath from the unaffected part of Footpath S, south of Unit 16 at SY 69219067 the footpath continues south west to Unit 15 at SY 6920990676 then continues west north west through buildings to SY 69189067 south of Trinity Chambers in the Dorchester Parish at Antelope Walk and adding to them the footpath from the unaffected part of Footpath S, south of Unit 16, Antelope Walk at SY 69219067, south west to SY 6921090674 then west along a block paved stone surface to its junction with Trinity Street.
Width: The width of this part of Footpath 5 varies between 5 metres at SY 69219067,7 metres at SY 6921490677, narrowing to 3 metres at SY 6921090674, widening to 6 metres at SY 6920690673 and narrowing to 3 metres at SY 69189066.

If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Dorset Council,
instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State for the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs
may itself confirm the Order. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State, any representations or objections
which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it.

Temporary Traffic Management Order of Various Roads, Weymouth For Removal of Branch Line (Phase 1)
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended.

The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 5 October 2020 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 13 November 2020. All restrictions will be operational as and when indicated by signs on site. This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out the Weymouth branch line removal works. The effect of the Order is as follows and the restrictions listed below will be operational as and when indicated by signs on site;
[I] To impose phased road closures on King Street, Commercial Road and Custom House Quay between 5 October 2020 and 13 November 2020
[2] To impose road closure on Gloucester Street at the junction with Commercial Road which is anticipated to be in
place between 8 October 2020 and 20 October 2020.
[3] To revoke existing one way on Gloucester Street and impose a temporary two way traffic flow which is
anticipated to be in place between 8 October 2020 and 20 October 2020
[4] To impose road closure on Wooperton Street which is anticipated to be in place between 16 October 2020 and
20 October 2020
[5] To impose road closure on Westham Road West which is anticipated to be in place between 16 October 2020
and 20 October 2020, there will be no access at all times
[6] To impose Parking suspensions on Custom House Quay for the whole duration of the works to allow two way
traffic to operate.
[7] To impose Parking suspensions on South Parade whilst nightworks are undertaken on Custom House Quay
between South Parade and The Esplanade, between 5 October 2020 and 10 October 2020,2000hrs - 0600hrs.
[8] To revoke existing one way system on South Parade and impose a temporary 2 way traffic flow to allow access
to Custom House Quay whilst nightworks are undertaken on Custom House Quay between South Parade and The
Esplanade between 5 October 2020 and 10 October 2020,2000hrs - 0600hrs.
[9] To impose Parking suspensions on Custom House Quay between its junction with The Esplanade and its
junction with South Parade which is anticiapted to be in operation from 1200hrs on 5 October 2020 until 10
October 2020.
[10] To revoke the existing one way order on Custom House Quay and impose temporary two way traffic flow on Custom House Quay from its junction with South Parade to its junction with St Mary Street.
[II] To impose a No Right Turn from the exit of Multistorey car park on Commercial Road between 2 November 2020 and 3 November 2020.
[12] To impose road closure on Bath Street which is anticipated to be in operation between 8 October 2020 and 15 October 2020.
[13] To impose parking suspension at the northern end of Commercial Road (No through road section) between 8
October 2020 and 15 October 2020.

Temporary Closure of Public Footpath E59/17 Woodlands
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [2] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All pedestrians, horses and cycles will be prohibited from proceeding along part of footpath E59/17, from grid reference SU05789 07396 (point A on the map below) to grid reference SU05661 07411, a distance of approximately 140 metres. The order is needed to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on 8th October 2020 for a period of 26 weeks initially. But can be extended, with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport, whilst the construction site is active. This Notice will enable building works within the grounds of Slough House..
