The Borough of Weymouth and Portland (Waiting Restrictions) (Consolidation) Order 2011 (Order No. 5,2020) Hardy Avenue, Weymouth -Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting (School 'Keep Clear' Markings)
Dorset Council has made an Order to 'The Borough of Weymouth and Portland (Waiting Restrictions) (Consolidation) Order 2011' under relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ('the Act') and under Part 6 of the Traffic Management Act 2004 and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with statutory requirement and in compliance with The Local Authorities' Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996.
The Order will come into operation on 16 October 2020 and will formalise the School 'Keep Clear' Markings on Hardy Avenue, Weymouth. Relevant exemptions will apply where appropriate and as necessary in accordance with the provisions of the Order.
Due to the current Covid-19 situation, it is not possible for Dorset Council to have documents on deposit for people to view at County Hall. If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any provisions contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order you may within six weeks of the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for that purpose Dated: 8 October 2020.

The County of Dorset (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) (Lubbecke Way & Stinsford View, Dorchester) No. 4 Order 2020
Dorset Council has made an Order under Sections 1 (1) and (2), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(2) and 124(1)(d) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of the Traffic Management Act 2004 and of Part IV of Schedule 1 of the Act and of Regulation 21 of Part IV of The Local Authorities' Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996 and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with statutory requirement and in compliance with the 1996 Regulations.
When the Order comes into operation on 16 October 2020 the effect of the order will be to formalise the lengths of no waiting at any time and no waiting between the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm along Lubbecke Way and Stinsford View, Dorchester. Due to the current Covid-19 situation, it is not possible for Dorset Council to have documents on deposit for people to view at County Hall. Temporary Closure of Public Footpath E59/17 Woodlands
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic [Temporary Restrictions] Act 1991. All pedestrians, horses and cycles will be prohibited from proceeding along part of footpath E59/17, from grid reference SU05789 07396 (point A on the map below) to grid reference SU05661 07411, a distance of approximately 140 metres. The order is needed to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It came into operation on 8th October 2020 and will be in operation for a period of 26 weeks initially. But can be extended, with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport, whilst the construction site is active. This Notice will enable building works within the grounds of Slough House. Temporary Traffic Regulation Revocation Order, Burton Road, Abbotsbury 2020
NOTICE is hereby given that Dorset Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make a Revocation Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which when it comes into force will have the following effect:-
WHEREAS Dorset Council ("the Council") in the exercise of its powers under section
14 Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) made the Temporary Closure of
Burton Road Abbotsbury, Order 2020 ("the previous order") on 19 June 2020.
The reasons stated in the previous order are no longer applicable and therefore the
Council now intends to make this Revocation Order which revokes the previous
order and has no other effect.
This Order will come into effect on 16 October 2020.
