Temporary Traffic Management Order of Church Street & Shadrack Street, Beaminster
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14  of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order Is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 4 January 2021 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 29 January 2021. This Order will enable SGN, safe access to carry out gas mains replacement to approximately 17 properties.
The effect of the order is as follows and the restrictions listed below will be operational as and when indicated by signs on site;
 To impose road closure on Church Street between its junction with The Square
and its junction with St Mary Well Street.  To impose parking suspension on Shadrack Street for its entirety for the
duration of the works.  To impose parking suspension on Church Street between its junction with
Shadrack Street and its junction with St Mary Well Street. An alternative vehicular route will be signed using; A3066 - Shadrack Street -Church Street.

The County of Dorset (Various Roads in the District of West Dorset) (Consolidation of Orders Made for the Regulation of Traffic) Order 2014 (as amended), (Amendment Order No. 3,2020) Various Roads, Lyme Regis - Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting at Any Time and introduce Resident Parking.
Dorset Council has made an Amendment Order to 'The County of Dorset (Various Roads in the District of West Dorset) (Consolidation of Orders made for the Regulation of Traffic) Order 2014' under relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ('the Act') and under Part 6 of the Traffic Management Act 2004 and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with statutory requirement and in compliance with The Local Authorities' Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996. When the order comes into operation on 8 January 2021 the effect of the Order will be to introduce no waiting at anytime, resident permit parking and waiting limited to one hour return prohibited within one hour restrictions in the following roads in Lyme Regis:

Relevant exemptions will apply where appropriate and as necessary in accordance
with the provisions of the Order.
