CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 - SECTION 119 PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 11 (BRADFORD WEST) (PART) YEW TREE FARM YEW TREE LANE BRADFORD PUBLIC PATH (DIVERSION) ORDER 2016 On 5th January 2017, the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council confirmed the above Order made under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the Order, as confirmed, is to divert that part of Public Footpath No.11 (Bradford West) near to Yew Tree Farm, Yew Tree Lane, Bradford, West Yorkshire shown by a bold continuous line on map number 66666/T231_Diversion Order which is annexed to the Order commencing at a point marked A and running in an easterly direction for a distance of approximately 45 metres to a point marked B, then in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 75 metres to a point marked C, then in an easterly direction for a distance of approximately 65 metres to a point marked D. This public footpath is 2 metres wide, with a grass surface. An alternative Public Footpath will be created as shown by a bold broken line on map no. 66666/T231_Diversion Order annexed to the Order commencing at a point marked Aand continuing in a south easterly direction for a distance of approximately 120 metres to a point marked E, then in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 125 metres to a point marked D. This public footpath is 2 metres wide, with a surface of grass, earth and stone.

A copy of the confirmed Order and the Order map has been deposited and may be inspected free of charge at the Customer Services Office, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford during normal office hours. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased.

The Order comes into force on 2nd February 2017, but ifa person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act (as amended), or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, he may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 13th January 2017, make an application to the High Court.
