The Borough of Weymouth and Portland (Waiting Restrictions) (Consolidation) Order 2011 (as amended) (Amendment No. 4, Order 2017), Southview Road, Weymouth - Disabled Parking Bay
Dorset County Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ('the Act') and the Traffic Management Act 2004 and the Local Authorities' Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996 and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act.
When the Order comes into operation on 3 November 2017 the effect will be to introduce a disabled parking bay outside No. 70 Southview Road, Weymouth. Exemptions will permit waiting for picking up or setting down passengers, post office vehicles delivering and collecting mail, emergency service vehicles and vehicles in connection with any building or demolition operation, the maintenance of the road, the supply of gas, water or electricity and works to any telegraphic line. A copy of the Order together with a plan showing the length of road affected may be inspected from Monday to Friday during normal office hours at:-Main Reception, Dorset County Council, County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester and Weymouth and Portland Borough Council, Commercial Road, Weymouth. If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any provisions contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order you may within six weeks of the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for that purpose. Temporary Closure of Burton Road & East Burton Road, Wool
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Burton Road and East Burton Road, Wool in two phases:
? Burton Road, between Monday 30 October and Friday 10 November 2017, and

? East Burton Road, between Monday 13 November and Friday 24 November 2017. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. This order will enable Wessex Water to complete works on a new water main.

Alternative vehicular routes will be signed using East Burton Road, Dorchester Road, Burton Road and vice versa.

The County of Dorset (Cocklands, Charminster) (Disabled Parking Bay) (Order No. 12) Order 2017
Dorset County Council has made an Order under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ('the Act') and of the Traffic Management Act 2004 and of The Local Authorities' Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996 and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with statutory requirement and in compliance with the 1996 Regulations.
When the Order comes into operation on the 3 November 2017 the effect of the Order will be to move the existing disabled parking bay from outside No. 47 Cocklands to outside No. 46 Cocklands.
Exemptions will permit waiting for picking up or setting down passengers, post office vehicles delivering and collecting mail, emergency service vehicles and vehicles in connection with any building or demolition operation, the maintenance of the road, the supply of gas, water or electricity and works to any telegraphic line. This proposal is directly associated with 'The County of Dorset (Various Roads in the District of West Dorset) (Consolidation of Orders made for the Regulation of Traffic) Order 2014 in that it is an amendment to that Order.
A copy of the Order together with a plan showing the length of road affected may be
