The Broadchurch effect is back as the popular television show once again raises the profile of a West Dorset business.

Charmouth club site has been named as one of the top five sites near film sets by the Camping and Caravanning Club.

The site made the number five spot on the list, with a spokesman for the club saying it is 'ideally located for exploring Dorset’s Jurassic Coast and West Bay near Bridport, the stunning cliffs here featured prominently in both series one and two of ITV1’s Broadchurch'.

Top of the list is Hill Farm Certified Site, which is close to Leavesden Studios, which houses many sets used in the Harry Potter film franchise.

In second place is the Derwentwater Club Site in the Lake District. Shots of the lake were used in 2015's Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Glencoe Club Site came in third place for its associations with James Bond. The rugged heath and gorse land was featured heavily in Skyfall.

And in fourth place was the Veryan Club Site, close to several locations used on BBC1's

Poldark.
