BUYING presents for his own children prompted a business owner to donate to the Echo Christmas Toy Appeal.
Direct Removals of Weymouth has given £100 towards making this a happy Christmas for needy youngsters in the county.
Business owner Barry Smale said: “I was out Christmas present shopping for my family at the weekend and I just started thinking about all those little ones who don’t have what my children have.
“I’ve got two children and I just thought it would be nice to give a little something to those less fortunate than them.
Now in its 12th year, the Echo Toy Appeal has put a smile on the faces of hundreds of children. Barry added: “We would hate for our children to to go without at Christmas and we just wanted to do something for those that need help.”
