Ogbourne St Andrew is a small well kept village two miles to the north of Marlborough. Ocheburne in the Domesday Book, the name means Occa's stream, from the Saxon name Occa and the word burna. The second part of the name is from the local church dedication.The village enjoys direct access onto the ridgeway, has a popular pub/ restaurant and shares a well attended pre and primary school with the adjoining village of Ogbourne St George.
