A very attractive and spacious three storey Victorian house occupying an enviable position just a short stroll to the world famous Chesil Beach. EPC Band D.

19 Albert Terrace is a very attractive and spacious three storey Victorian house occupying an enviable tucked away position within Fortuneswell and just a short stroll to the world famous Chesil Beach. It is understood to date back to 1880/1890 and built of Portland Stone and brick under a slate roof. The well proportioned and well presented accommodation is arranged over three floors enjoying wonderful sea views both to the front and rear to Chesil Beach and along the Jurassic Coast to Start Point in Devon. Under the current ownership, the property has been subject to extensive refurbishment/improvements including upgrading of the bathroom and shower rooms, replacement of the gas central heating boiler, extensive damp proofing with guarantee, new GRP roof (for proposed roof terrace) and new floor coverings. There are also low maintenance UPVC sealed unit windows and doors.

The host of character style features typical of its period include high ceilings, bay windows taking advantage of the sea views, stripped pine staircase, deep skirting boards, wood panelled ceilings to the kitchen and downstairs shower room and wide exposed floorboards to the principal bedroom.

On the ground floor, an entrance lobby leads to the large open plan sitting/dining room with a large glazed door to the rear courtyard. A well equipped fitted kitchen with solid wood fronted units and electric cooker, integrated fridge and freezer and beyond, a fully tiled shower/wet room. On the first floor, from the landing there is access to the proposed roof terrace which enjoys the great sea views (requires finishing to create a sun terrace with railings and possibly an external spiral staircase from the courtyard), there is a large principal bedroom with bay window and en-suite fully tiled shower room and again a very large fully tiled main bathroom. On the second floor landing there is access to a large attic (with retractable loft ladder, boarded and with light) and there are two further double bedrooms.

The property will equally appeal as a main home, second home, holiday or long term letting investment.

There is on-street parking to the front subject to availability.

There is a small front garden with raised flower/shrub bed. At the rear is a private and sheltered walled courtyard which is paved together with raised beds. From here, there is great potential to install a spiral staircase up to the sun roof terrace.

Albert Terrace enjoys a tucked away position within Fortuneswell which both boasts a broad range of facilities including everyday shopping, leisure and healthcare with a promenade edging Chesil Beach and the dramatic Jurassic coastline. The property is within walking distance of the Osprey Leisure Centre with indoor sport facilities and swimming pool. Many outdoor pursuits can be enjoyed on the island with excellent sailing, fishing and water sports facilities including those at the Weymouth & Portland National Sailing Academy and many stunning walks and several beaches to be explored. The coastal resort of Weymouth is within easy reach by car with regular bus services also operating from the island.

Weymouth provides a comprehensive range of shops, a marina as well as cultural, recreational and further educational facilities. The area also provides the opportunity to enjoy the sandy beaches and walks along the World Heritage Jurassic Coastline/South West Coast Path and the rolling countryside that surrounds the area. There are mainline rail services from Weymouth to London Waterloo and Bristol Temple Meads.

All mains services. Gas fired central heating.
