AN INTERNATIONALLY acclaimed circus-dance show is coming to Dorset for one night only on Sunday, September 29.

Following a month-long run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Nikki Rummer and JD Broussé will perform their exhilarating show, Knot, at Gillingham School.

Created in collaboration with award-winning choreographer Ben Duke, of Lost Dog Dance Company, Knot tells the story of two acrobats who fall in love and dream of the future, while a truth threatens to undermine their bond. The couple's modern affair is told sensitively through breathtaking acrobatics, hand-to-hand circus skills and dance routines.

At the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe, Knot received both a Herald Angel Award and a Total Theatre & Jacksons Lane Award for Circus. The production was also shortlisted for the Best of Edinburgh Award.

The Dorset performance of Knot is organised through Artsreach, the county's touring arts charity. The organisation gives rural communities all over Dorset the opportunity to see and participate in high quality arts events in their own villages, with ticket prices kept low thanks to regular funding from Arts Council England and Dorset Council.

Knot will be performed at Gillingham School Hall at 7.30pm. For tickets and more information, visit
