*HEAR the magic of Adele's music recreated by one of the top tribute acts on the planet.

Katie Markham will perform Someone Like You - The Adele Songbook at Weymouth Pavilion tonight.

Hand-picked by Adele herself on Graham Norton’s BBC Special, Katie leads a super-talented six piece band through all your favourite Adele hits plus much more in this internationally acclaimed show. It starts at 7.30pm. Contact the box office for tickets.

*CRICKET fans will enjoy a trip down memory lane with Jonathan Agnew at Dorchester Corn Exchange tonight from 8pm.

'Aggers' will recount tales from a wonderful and entertaining career on the field and in the commentary box, with film footage, audio clips and photographs on the big screen.

SATURDAY

*GO on a musical journey through the history of Queen with MAGIC - A Kind of Queen at Weymouth Pavilion tomorrow at 7.30pm.

Freddie Mercury and Queen produced many hit records throughout their career and Magic give you a show covering many of these wonderful pieces of music in a Rock n Roll concert played as only they can. They will recreate the fantastic vocals and musicianship of Queen and tell a story of one of the greatest bands ever.

*SEE the largest illuminated carnival procession in Dorset at Shaftesbury Carnival tomorrow from 3pm to 10pm. There will be a children's procession at 3pm which will involve more than 250 children. The evening procession begins at 7.15pm, with more than 60 entries and makes it way through the town entertaining more than 5,000 people. There will be a collection with donations given to worthy causes in Shaftesbury to support their visions.

*BE entertained with Cinema Under the Stars at Leweston School, Sherborne, tonight from 6.30pm. Disney's Dumbo will be shown on the big screen. Bring your deck chair and your blanket. Tickets cost £10.50 for adults and £8.50 for youngsters. Call 01963 211011.

*THE story of working class suffragette Hannah Mitchell will be performed on stage at Piddletrenthide Memorial Hall in Piddletrenthide on Sunday afternoon at 4pm. Louise Jordan presents The Hard Way: the story of Hannah Mitchell from her beginnings on a remote hilltop farm in the Derbyshire moorlands to becoming a Manchester city magistrate. *BUDDY Holly and the Cricketers at Weymouth Pavilion at 7.30pm on Sunday stars some of the finest actor-musicians in the UK whose combined West End credits include Buddy, Lennon, Forbidden Planet and Jailhouse Rock.

*RUSSELL Howard continues his biggest globe-spanning stand-up tour to date with his Respite tour, calling in at the BIC Windsor Hall, Bournemouth, on Sunday at 3pm and 8pm and on Monday at 8pm.
