FOOT-STOMPING bluegrass and country group The Orange Circus Band will play rural Dorset next month.

The Celtic-Americana quartet is playing a countywide tour with Artsreach, Dorset’s touring arts charity and will call into venues including Burton Bradstock Village Hall.

With roots in Virginia, Wales, Cornwall, and England, The Orange Circus Band are a raucous, footstompin', unique Americana/Celtic collective performing on banjo, guitar, fiddle, mandolin, double bass and drums.

With one hand in roots, rock and gospel music, and updating traditional songs taken from The Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia, the band produces its own original tunes, continuing a historical musical lineage in a contemporary, fresh and unique way.

Alongside worldwide concerts and appearances at festivals including Cambridge Folk Festival, Black Deer festival and Maverick Festival, The Orange Circus band have also played amongst industry legends rising stars, such as First Aid Kit, Eric Bibb, Ward Thomas, Whiskey Shivers and more.

Expect wild playing, beautiful harmonies and boundless energy guaranteed to raise the roof and warm the hearts.
