SEE a funny 'micro ballet' in a west Dorset village.

The inimitable Living Spit is performing Swan Lake at Wootton Fitzpaine Village Hall near Lyme Regis.

Swan Lake is the most famous, magical water-based avian ballet ever performed. But expensive, high-brow and normally only at a big city theatre miles away from where you live… well, not any more!

It will be performed in Wootton Fitzpaine with Artsreach, the county’s touring arts charity.

Teaming up with Somerset producers Theatre Orchard, comic duo Living Spit will present the smallest ballet ever performed (probably). With Howard & Stu joined on stage by two professional ballet dancers, this is a proper ballet - in miniature. The dynamic duo have promised to leave the tutus at home, but promises are made to be broken…

Choreographer Holly Noble has previously worked for English National Ballet and Sadler’s Wells as an Associate Dance Artist and was English National Ballet Youth Company Artistic Director. Teaming up with Howard and Stu, they just might have created the funniest, danciest, water-fowlest microballet the world has ever seen!

Living Spit will perform Swan Lake at Wotton Fitzpaine (01297 560948) on Friday December 13 at 7.30pm. Full details and tickets are also available from artsreach.co.uk
