POPULAR band Watkins and Swarbrick will perform at the Mission Hall, Sutton Poyntz on Sunday, December 15 from 8pm.
Renowned for the variety of material they perform, Ken, Angela, Lucy and Simon will take you on a musical journey, inspired by folk and country, blues and jazz.
Expect sensitive and extraordinary playing of guitars, violin, ukelele and mandolin, plus some lovely mellow vocals and rich 3-part harmonies that have been described as a ‘wonderful blend’.
A night of superb acoustic music is promised, performed alongside some lively banter, a little off-beat humour and an atmosphere of relaxed informality in an intimate venue.
CDs will be on sale. This is always a popular gig for the band, so book seats early. Tickets cost £11 or £10 for concessions.
