A Cornwall-based theatre company will return to the stage with the eagerly-awaited second show in their popular anthology series.

Featuring three brand new scripts, 'Owdyado Theatre will perform Twisted Tales Vol. 2 at The Bay Theatre, Weymouth College, on Thursday, February 27.

Written by Jon Welch, Brett Harvey and Charlotte Bister & Daniel Richards, the three short plays will take audiences on a journey through time and space, where kidnapping, torture, the infinity of the universe and copious amounts of tea are all entwined.

In a kitchen on earth, acclaimed sci-fi author Edward R Matherson lays on his death bed, a bloody battle of wits taking place over the secret of the universe.

Deep in space, the crew of the Fortuna are searching for alien life - but their ship is malfunctioning.

As for Jamie - his life is a mess. He's lost his job and is desperate for love, but his only companion is a broken Alexa. She's supposed to make his life easier, but in reality, who is serving whom?

Founded in 2010, 'Owdyado Theatre creates original, intelligent productions that are often both funny and thought-provoking. Previous shows have included About a Bench, Above Bored and A View from the Edge, all of which toured the UK to high acclaim.

Twisted Tales Vol. 2 is 'Owdyado Theatre's sixth show. The performance begins at 7.30pm and tickets are £10 for adults and £9 for concessions, available from The Bay Theatre website.
