A play full of wit, humour and flair comes to the Marine Theatre in Lyme Regis on Friday, April 3.
Theatre Nation will bring Samuel Beckett’s masterpiece of modern drama Waiting for Godot to town.
It's a play once famously described as ‘a play in which nothing happens – twice’.
Hilarious, poignant and unforgettable, Waiting for Godot tells the story of two tramps on a lonely Irish road awaiting the appearance of a mysterious character…called Godot.
They while away the time by quarrelling, making up, contemplating suicide, trying to sleep, eating a carrot and gnawing on some chicken bones.
Theatre Nation is a theatre company based in Hastings, East Sussex. They produce reimaginings of classical texts, stage adaptations and innovative new writing. In doing so, we collaborate with a range of artistic disciplines including music, dance and film.
