It is hardly surprising that the backlog of cases waiting to be dealt with in our courts will take years to clear when so much time and taxpayers’ money is being spent settling (for example) spats between uber-rich, spoilt soccer WAGS (Rooney v Vardy) and/or equally privileged showbiz ‘luvvies’ (Depp v Depp).
Apropos of which, am I alone in finding it sickening that the BBC, other TV channels and the media in general devote so much air time ans so many column inches to reporting the boring antics of these people?
