A CELEBRATION of food and drink is being held to make people fall in love with produce made in Dorset.

The 15 day celebration is organised by Dorset Food and Drink (DF & D) and coincides with Valentine's Day and the Spring half-term holidays.

It will give people an opportunity to show their love for favourites amongst the delicious foodstuffs and libations created by our Dorset neighbours - and hopefully find some new tastes and tipples with which to start a relationship!

Running over three weekends and two full weeks, from February 9 to February 23, activities during Love Dorset Food & Drink Weeks include shops highlighting the very best in local produce (tastings, too), producers running special competitions and chefs cooking up special menus featuring favourite items from their Dorset larders.

This activity is a new initiative from DF&D, the members’ organisation for food and drink producers, retailers and hospitality businesses and forms part of a revitalised offering to members and Dorset food lovers. Look on the DF&D website for details of events near you during Love Dorset Food & Drink Weeks as well as other events and activities as they are confirmed dorsetfoodanddrink.org/LoveDorset
