HEAR the recorder as you've never heard it before!
People whose only experience of the recorder was in their early years at school will not recognise the instrument when recorder virtuoso Jill Kemp, plays it on Sunday at Weymouth College.
Jill was a student of Piers Adams and made her professional debut at the age of 10 and has since given well over 100 recitals as well as winning various awards and competitions. She is joined by pianist Helen Reid, who is referred to as a capable but rather special pair of hands'.
Their programme includes Bach, Tartini's The Devil's Trill, Handel, Vivaldi and David Bedford's Piers de Resistance among other items.
Sunday's concert starts at 3pm and tickets are £10, £4 for students at the door. See www.weymouthmusic.org.uk for more details.
