IF you like a bit of blues intermingled with perky pop and a bit of ‘modern life’ with a vintage sound, then this is the album for you.
Starting off with a sound like the Monkees on Caught in the Moonlight and segueing into The Mavericks-sounding Dance for Evermore, I challenge you to resist tapping your toes to this one.
Some things are worth waiting for and Si’s debut – 20 glorious years in the making – has all the exuberance, hunger and artistry honed from those many years of plugging away on the streets.
A must hear.
