The Osmond’s played their last ever British concert in Bournemouth on Sunday night, and what a great night it turned out to be.

It would be easy to file this away as another band going on the road to make the most of the current wave of reunion/nostalgia tours but with a new album garnering rave reviews this was anything but.

Delivering a vocal performance that One Direction, JLS and The Wanted would kill for and a drum solo that Dave Grohl would have been proud of The Osmond’s showed that they have lost none of the talents that have seen them sell more than 100 million albums worldwide.

From the opening riff of Crazy Horses through a Barber Shop requests session to Let Me In, One Bad Apple, and Long Haired Lover from Liverpool the crowd loved every single minute singing, clapping and stomping along to show their appreciation.

Songs from the new album including title track Can’t Get There Without You, Remember Me, I Need You and Break Your Fall were received with the same enthusiasm.

A few tears both on stage and in the crowd as the brothers left a British arena for the last time. After such a warm reception it wouldn’t surprise me if they were rethinking that decision.
