Kate Winslet has admitted she can’t wait to start promoting Danny Boyle’s Steve Jobs biopic.
The Oscar-winning actress stars opposite Michael Fassbender in the film about the Apple co-founder, and plays Joanna Hoffman, one of the original members of the Macintosh team. Seth Rogen also stars as Steve Wozniak in the film, scripted by The Social Network’s Aaron Sorkin.
Kate revealed: “We just wrapped, I just finished filming in San Francisco, so it’s done.
“Danny Boyle is going into editing mode, and I can’t wait to start talking about that properly.
“Working with Danny was an incredible experience, he’s a lovely man. Working with Michael Fassbender was so extraordinary, he is one of the most professional, prepared, lovely actors I’ve ever had the good fortune to work with and I’m tremendously excited to see what it’s like.”
She added: “It really was fantastic, I was so excited to be invited along for the ride, and I honestly can’t tell you how incredible the whole process was of making that film. It was really quite something.”
Ashton Kutcher starred in the 2013 film Jobs, about the late Apple CEO, but it was critically panned. There are high expectations of Danny Boyle and Aaron Sorkin’s take on the story, adapted from Walter Isaacson’s biography.
