Amanda Holden has posted a sweet throwback picture of herself and her sister Debbie, weeks after the latter was involved in a car accident.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge, who had rushed to be by her sibling’s side after the crash, shared the image on her Instagram page.
The 45-year-old looks sweet as a button in pigtails with her arm around her younger sister in the snap.
Along with the photo, she simply wrote: “Me and my sis. #throwbackthursday.”
The day after the accident, Amanda confirmed to her fans that Debbie was doing well.
The relieved TV star wrote on Twitter: “Thank you for the kind messages re my Sister. We are delighted to say she is out of danger & going to make a full recovery. Long live the NHS.”
Amanda had rushed from London to Cornwall when hearing of the accident after attending Simon Cowell’s birthday party.
Diving instructor Debbie, 44, is said to have been in a “critical but stable” condition in hospital.
At the time, a source told The Sun that Amanda – who is very close to her sister – was “in absolute agony”.
“Amanda is very close to her sister. They’re only a year apart and there’s something about them together which is really special. Amanda’s still with her in hospital.”
The sisters are said to have become very close in recent years after they endured a difficult relationship as children while growing up with their father Frank.
