A NIGHT of excellent craic and Gaelic charm will light up the darkening nights in Rhyl this Autumn.
Join the multi-award-winning Irish band the Wild Murphys at the Rhyl Pavilion for some music from the Emerald Isle in One Night In Dublin on Saturday, October 24 at 7.30pm.
Pull up a barstool and be transported to Murphy's Pub where the house band, The Wild Murphys, will be performing great Irish songs by the likes of The Pogues, The Dubliners, The Fureys, The Saw Doctors and many more.
Regarded as “The best Irish group to never come from Ireland”, they're not a folk band, they're not a ceilidh band, they're not even a rock band, they are an out and out Irish music group, playing some of the greatest Irish classics in their own inimitable style.
The seven-piece live band is headed by lead singer Middi Murphy armed with blarney, banter and an accordion, alongside Trevor Brewis on drums, Tony Davis on keys and the BBC award-winning fiddle player Sophy Ball on fiddle.
In their own inimitable style, The Wild Murphys celebrate Irish classics with tracks including Galway Girl, Tell Me Ma, Dirty Old Town, The Irish Rover, Brown Eyed Girl, Seven Drunken Nights, Sally MacLennane, When You Were Sweet Sixteen, Whiskey in the Jar, Wild Rover and Molly Malone, to name just a few.
Tickets are £20, to book visit rhylpavilion.co.uk or call the box office on 01745 330000.
