YOUNG actors from Dorchester Youth Theatre's Combined Arts Week will be putting together a musical production this week and staging it on Friday and Saturday.
Combine Arts Week involves 40 young people coming together and rehearsing songs, comedy and drama.
As usual, the story will be far from straightforward, and this year will involve, amongst other things, a sushi bar, a private detective agency and a pack of Brownies heading for the Wendy and Miss Mousey theme park.
And who are those strange people hanging around the White Room, and why? All will be revealed in this 'eco-thriller' The White Room, albeit a rather comical one.
Participants start from scratch on the Monday, learning lines, songs and dance routines, while the backstage crew start working on the set design.
By Friday (26) evening, a full performance will be staged at The Thomas Hardye School Theatre in Dorchester at 7.30 pm and again on Saturday (27) afternoon at 2.30pm.
Tickets are available from Dorchester Arts Box Office on 01305 266926 (at the Corn Exchange), Dorchester Tourist Information Office or on the door prior to performance.
