CLIMATE change is a hot topic and Forkbeard Fantasy's latest show Invisible Bonfires at Bridport Arts Centre focuses on this issue.

Forkbeard's much-loved surreal comedy, spectacle and invention, film and cartoon combine with astonishing apparatus, fabulous 3-D projections and ultra-slick smoothy-pant presentation to provide a hot night out on the Bridport tiles. Live music is provided by The Lotus Pedals.

Invisible Bonfires is based on Forkbeard's RSC Complete Works commission Rough Magyck, which was performed at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford upon Avon last year.

Bridport Arts Centre director Chris Huxley said: "Forkbeard Fantasy's new show will be the company's first performance here for absolutely ages and if you have never seen them before then this is the time to go.

"Because they are simply brilliant. And funny. And wildly inventive.

"In fact, the best show I have ever seen at Bridport Arts Centre was Forkbeard Fantasy's Fall of the House of Usherettes, which received a standing ovation."

You can see Invisible Bonfires at Bridport on Thursday and Friday, June 21 and 22 at 7.30pm. Tickets are £12 plus concessions are available from the box office on 01308 424204.
