BESTIVAL organisers are excited to announce the latest update for September’s showcase.

Visitors are being encouraged to join Bike to Bestival to raise money for the Ellen Macarthur Cancer Trust, a charity working to empower and inspire young people aged between eight and 24.

The inaugural Bike to Bestival will take riders to its new home on the Lulworth Estate. Bestival-goers are urged to get on their bikes and join them on their mission to reduce Bestival’s environmental impact while raising money for charity - plus, Bike to Bestival riders will receive a free Bestival ticket.

Rob da Bank said: “On your bike Bestival!

“We love unusual ways of getting to festivals, especially when they’re environmentally friendly and good for the soul.

“We’ve supported the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust for many years, and we’re really chuffed to be working with them again for this awesome project. We’ll be greeting all money-raising riders in Lulworth for a celebration and a dance!”

Run in conjunction with Velo Domestique, all participants will set off from Bournemouth on Thursday, September 7, accompanied by a team of

skilled marshals who will keep everyone on track, motivated, and ensure they arrive safely at Bestival.

Everyone who successfully completes the 25-mile Bike to Bestival ride will be issued with a free weekend Bestival ticket, reserved prime camping in the Emerald City campsite, and added extras. Participants will be required to pay a £25 administration fee, and raise a minimum of £120 for charity.
