A TRIO of musicians from the renowned Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra (BSO) will be performing at Durlston Castle this March.
Violist Tom Beer, harpist Eluned Pierce and flautist Barbara Brown will present an evening celebrating springtime, with music from composers including Debussy, Faure, Handel and Arnold Bax.
The performance is being organised in conjunction with Artsreach - Dorset’s touring rural arts organisation.
Artsreach co-director Kerry Bartlett said: “Concerts by musicians from the county’s internationally-acclaimed orchestra are always hugely popular, with audiences and performers alike enjoying the intimacy of our rural venues.
“This new trio is an exciting addition to our touring arts programme for the spring and, thanks to funding from the Arts Council, our local authorities and local solicitors Blanchards Bailey, we are thrilled to be continually adding to our programme and reach.”
The show is scheduled for Durlston Castle, Swanage, on Sunday March 4.
