Find out more about botanical illustration at Kingston Maurward’s Open Day and Food Fair on Sunday.
Visitors will be able to see Weymouth artist Sally Pinhey's work and discuss joining her art courses this summer.
Sally teaches botanical illustration at Kingston Maurward College where fine botanical specimens are at hand, plus the facilities in the horticulture department give the illustration students access to microscopes for detail work.
She is running a four day weekend course from August 17 to 20.
Sally Pinhey has painted Restharrow (Ononis repens), and Mugwort (Artemesia vulgaris), finding specimens of both near the town.
Nine linked workshops on botanical art will run from October at Kingston Maurward College.
