*YOU can see top volleyball action on Weymouth Beach all weekend with the Beach Volleyball Classic.

Today is the 3 Star men's and women's events while tomorrow is the 5 star men's and women's events and Sunday will see the mixed events. Take a seat courtside and soak up the action.

*HG Wells' classic The Time Machine will be performed at Dorchester Corn Exchange tonight (27) at 8pm.

*YOUNGSTERS with a keen eye for art can join a graffiti workshop in Martinstown Village Hall tomorrow from 10am to 4pm.

Suitable for those aged nine and above, Abigail Thommes will show people how to design their own graffiti 'tags' with black paint. Whatever your interest, sports, music, animals or superheroes, you can include this in your graffiti, then take home their work of art to decorate their room! Go to artsreach.co.uk to book.

*DAVID Bowie fans will be flocking to Weymouth Pavilion tonight (27) at 8pm for Absolute Bowie.

This show marks the 45th anniversary of the classic David Bowie album Aladdin Sane. Absolute Bowie will play the album in its entirety treating you to such classics as Jean Genie, Panic in Detroit, Drive-in Saturday and Cracked Actor. The second set of the evening will be dedicated to Ziggy Stardust. Absolute Bowie performs all the hits; Suffragette City, Moonage Daydream, Starman and many more. Call the box office for tickets.

*GO for a Rockpool Ramble in Kimmeridge tomorrow between 2pm and 3.30pm.

Join a warden and wander along the beach to discover what fascinating seashore wildlife can be spotted in Kimmeridge Bay, the best rockpooling site in Dorset.

Meet at the Fine Foundation Wild Seas Centre at 2pm, located by the slipway in Kimmeridge Bay. Postcode BH20 5PE. lease be aware that access to Kimmeridge Bay is via a private road for which a toll of £5 per car is charged by Smedmore Estate (charges vary for other types of vehicle). Park in the main car park and follow the footpath to the east side of the bay. The Dorset Wildlife Trust ramble costs £3 for adults and £2 for children. Under 3s go free.

*ROYAL Birmingham Conservatoire percussion students Tzu-Jo Huang and Alexander Henshaw will perform at Tincleton Gallery tonight (27) as part of their Jurassic Percussion tour.

Expect two marimbas and lots of other percussion, with a modern programme, including pieces by Gene Koshinski, Chick Corea and David Friedman. Tickets cost £10. Call 01305 259998.

*JOIN the team from The Creepy Crawly Show at Brewery Square in Dorchester on Saturday, July 28 from 12pm to 3pm.

From insects to animals, this team really know their stuff and have a great range of knowledge! Families can meet, hold, and find out more about the animals during the show.

*MEET artist Keith 'Kitt' Athay with the opening of Athay Studio and Gallery at Portland Marina tomorrow (28) from 10am to 5pm.

Athay Studio and Gallery, at Unit 21, Portland Marina, Osprey Quay, will host artworks from some of the best local artists and will be open daily.

*RECREATING the sights and sounds of the legendary Pink Floyd live in concert, the UK Pink Floyd Experience, at Weymouth Pavilion on Sunday (29) at 7.30pm, features more than 50 years of hits by this iconic band.

The highly acclaimed show also features more than two hours of songs from both iconic albums Dark Side Of The Moon and Animals as well as Wish You Were Here, Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Another Brick In The Wall and Comfortably Numb alongside impressive video projection and a stunning light show.
