A Weymouth ukulele performer is putting on a 'live-ish' show as she debuts three music videos.

Sukulele, aka Sarah Limm, will be debuting three new videos for her original songs, lively numbers Things, Anxiety - which documents her own battles with mental health - and Hot Girl's Friend.

"Hot Girl's Friend is a comedy song I wrote about going out with a girlfriend who is way hotter than you and realising you've ended up spending most of the night on your own - It was my way of getting my angst out," she said.

Sarah started performing as Sukelele almost a decade ago and said she set herself the challenge of creating the videos as something to look back on with pride after she turned 30.

"I've achieved so much in some ways in my personal life. I got married and had a child but I wanted to be able to look back on my twenties and know I had achieved more than I thought I could. I was Sukulele before all that happened and I wanted to do something else - more than being a wife and a mother," she said.

Guests will recognise a lot of the scenes featured in the videos as they were shot at various locations around Weymouth including the Belvedere Inn, the Closet nightclub and Sandsfoot beach.

Sarah created the videos alongside friends and fellow creatives including cameraman, Oli Muir, script writer, Sadie Fisher, dancer, Andre Miller and actor Zak Watson-Smith.

The screening is free to attend and will be held at 8pm on Friday, September 7 at the Belvedere Inn in High West Street, Weymouth.

There will be a question and answer session held after the screenings so guests can talk with Sarah about the ideas and process behind the videos.

The session will be streamed on Facebook Live so anyone who does not attend the event but wishes to ask questions can tune in on the Sukulele Facebook page from approximately 9.30pm.

Sarah also hopes to play a few live songs for the audience on the night.
