BLUE Rose Code is bringing his eclectic mix of folk, jazz, soul and pop to Dorchester Arts.

Scottish-born, London-based Ross Wilson of Blue Rose Code comes to Dorchester on Friday, October 12 at 8pm.

His music addresses the themes of love, loss, travel, home, accepting the past and embracing the future, all painted with colours of folk, jazz, soul and pop. This eclectic mix has become a hallmark of Blue Rose Code and has seen him compared to John Martyn, Van Morrison and Tom Waits.

The band connects strongly with their audiences through live performances. Blue Rose Code have toured the length and breadth of the UK selling out venues wherever they go and leaving a trail of fans in their wake.

They have featured in festivals Celtic Connections, Edinburgh Fringe, Looe, Summer Isles, Lindisfarne, Southern Fried and Underneath The stars.

Support on the night comes in the form of Dorset musician Adam Sweet. Performing as a guitarist since the age of 15, Adam has steadily honed his craft and found his voice and is now successfully carving out a solo career.
